Central Park
Central Park, New York
If you plan on going to The
Met, I suggest you head over to Central Park for a stroll right after. You can
also grab a sandwich somewhere and munch it here.
Central Park is actually sprawling
– and it’s advisable to explore it in various days, depending which side of
Manhattan you’re at during the day. Personally, I like the part where the Loeb
boathouse (you can rent a rowing boat!) is, and also where the staircase is. It’s
also near the pond where Blair from Gossip Girl would feed the ducks.
Spring is a good time to explore
Central Park – flowers are in bloom and the place is huge so it doesn’t really
get crowded. I like parks – I like being close to nature and how chill it is.
Plus, you don’t have to spend
money!
There's an area at the park where you can actually rent remote-controlled boats. I've always been fascinated with remonote-controlled boats and cars, and so I wanted to actually rent one even if it meant I'd be joining kids! Too bad there was like a 45-minute wait for it, so I just opted to explore the park instead.
